Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-focused role in a medium-sized, fast-paced hospital requiring at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Work in the Computerized Tomography (CT) department of a medium-sized, fast-paced hospital
- Primary focus is CT, though supplementing X-ray staff may be required
- Weekend shifts primarily support ER and inpatient (IP) needs
- Responsible for patient transport to and from ER, with IP transports supplemented by nursing staff
- Schedule consists of two 12-hour day shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 07:00-19:00
- Opportunity for 36 hours per week available, which would include one additional night shift on Tuesdays
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- License required if applicable, with current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate with stakeholder departments
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Must be able to transport patients to and from the ER independently
- Teamwork with other departments is expected to support patient care flow
- Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that could affect pay rate
