Servers, Bartenders and Cooks for Monterey Car Week Beach Dinner 8/14

A+ Staffing is seeking chic and polished hospitality staff for an ultra-exclusive sunset dinner at Seal Rock Beach for VIP clients during Monterey Car Week.  

We are seeking attentive, knowledgeable, and guest focused Captains, Servers, Bartenders, Barbacks, Cook and Scullery staff who are available to work on Friday, August 14th.

Staff will welcome guests, serve passed appetizers, refreshing drinks and a family style meal created by an award-winning chef and ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience in a beautiful and pristine setting.

This event will require a full kitchen and guest tables to be set up for service on the beach – meaning staff will be carrying supplies, trays of food, beverages, and other equipment through the sand. This is more physically demanding than providing the same service indoors or on pavement. We are seeking staff with the stamina to work in these conditions throughout the night.

Captain - $38/hour – 3pm-11pm – ensure that service is paced correctly, staff are aligned and issues are handled without affecting the guest experience. Minimum 2 years of experience.

Server - $35/hour – 4pm-11:30pm or 5pm-12am – previous catering experience preferred.

Food Runner/Busser - $35/hour – 4pm-11:30pm or 5pm-11:30pm – previous catering experience preferred.

Bartender/Barback - $35/hour – 5pm-11pm – minimum 2 years of experience required for bartenders.

Cooks - $38/hour – 5pm-11pm – must have previous restaurant and/or catering experience.

Tear Down Labor - $35/hour – 10pm-2am

Pay: Hourly pay rates for each position are listed above. This is a W2 position. Pay will be direct deposited on Friday, August 21.

Travel Stipend: Staff will receive a $40.00 travel/fuel stipend.

Uniform Requirement: Professional, polished, and trendy look preferred. Khaki or tan linen pants, a white button down or Guayabera style shirt and comfortable closed toed shoes. Neutral/understated makeup and jewelry. Facial piercings are not allowed.

Uniform Note: staff may opt to go barefoot or wear sand socks/water shoes during service if this is easier for walking in the sand. Must have closed toed shoes for set up.
