Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union (MSDFCU) is seeking a service-oriented, sales-minded professional to join our Harleysville Branch as a Universal Banker.

In this role, you'll be the face of the Credit Union, helping members with their day-to-day banking needs while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and provide meaningful financial solutions. What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional member service in every interaction
• Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts
• Conduct member needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services
• Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist members with consumer loans, including auto, personal, and home equity loans
• Prepare loan documentation and conduct loan closings
• Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service options
• Resolve member concerns with professionalism and follow-through
• Generate referrals and identify opportunities to strengthen member relationships
• Contribute to branch sales, service, and operational goals

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry
• Cash handling experience
• Strong sales, referral, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows applications
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration in accordance with SAFE Act requirements

Preferred

• Experience opening consumer deposit accounts
• Consumer lending experience
• Credit union experience
• Knowledge of spreadsheet software
