Production Supervisor

Bradley Professional is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for their client located in North Greensboro!

Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift (2-2-3 Schedule | Rotating Days/Nights Monthly | 6:45 AM/PM – 7:00 AM/PM)

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the heat shrinkable packaging industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys coaching employees, driving production, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a production team while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, sound mechanical aptitude, and the ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of the manufacturing process.

This role requires someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and is committed to developing employees while maintaining high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.
• Manage employee performance, including coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary responsibilities when necessary.
• Ensure all safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain effective communication between departments and across shifts.
• Foster a positive team environment built on accountability and respect.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn technical manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
• Demonstrated experience handling employee performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to actively listen.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong character.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Frequent walking throughout the production facility.
• Must have the physical stamina to work in an active manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• 2-2-3 schedule
• Rotating between day and night shifts on a monthly basis
• Shift hours: 6:45 AM/PM – 7:00 AM/PM
