Duties
  • Prepare and assemble deli items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales transactions
  • Handle cash and credit card payments accurately while providing friendly cashier service
  • Assist customers with their selections, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling and kitchen surfaces
  • Restock deli items, organize displays, and ensure products are fresh and appealing
  • Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • Buss tables, clear counters, and assist with general store upkeep to ensure a welcoming environment
Skills
  • Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments, including quick service or fast food restaurants
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transactions
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate register operations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
  • Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in grocery stores or cafes is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support collaborative work dynamics
