Truck Upfitter

Seeking 1st and 2nd Shifts

Description:

Assemble and install parts on commercial, residential, and agricultural waste-hauling tanks using hand and air-powered tools. Duties include wiring, installing electrical and hydraulic components, mounting pumps, valves, lights, and toolboxes, testing equipment, and ensuring everything works properly. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and position materials and parts using work instructions.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and lifting equipment safely.
• Check work for quality and ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain and repair equipment and keep the work area clean.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required protective equipment.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Perform repairs and warranty work on used equipment.
• Complete other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Read and understand technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform accurate work while staying focused.
• Work well alone or as part of a team.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Shifts:

1st Shift, Monday- Friday; 6:45 am - 2:45 pm
2nd Shift, Monday- Thursday, 2:45 pm-12:45am + $1.25 shift differential
