About the Role:
The Dog Stop is looking for a friendly and motivated Front Desk Attendant to join our team in Centreville, VA! This is a great opportunity to be the welcoming face of our organization, creating a positive first impression for every guest and visitor. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests, clients, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate staff
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Assist staff and management with day-to-day operational needs
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed to ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Must LOVE dogs
