A-Level Automotive Service Technician
Robs Automotive & Collision is growing, and we're looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our team.
If you're the technician everyone turns to when the diagnostics get difficult, and you take pride in fixing vehicles right the first time, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and drivability diagnostics.
- Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Use OEM service information, scan tools, oscilloscopes, wiring diagrams, and other diagnostic equipment to accurately identify failures.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations with our service advisors.
- Mentor and assist other technicians when needed.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology and manufacturer repair procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills are a must.
- Ability to confidently diagnose CAN bus, network communication, parasitic draws, drivability concerns, and intermittent electrical issues.
- Experience with domestic, Asian, and European vehicles is a plus.
- ASE Master Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
