Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist position is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) exams in a high-volume, trauma-focused environment within a busy acute-care facility. The technologist will work during night shift hours, providing essential imaging services for Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient (IP) patients, utilizing advanced GE CT equipment.
Job Details:
- Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Radiography certification; CT certification preferred; at least 1 year of experience working in a level 1 trauma setting.
- Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently; proficiency in routine CT exams for ED and inpatient patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA procedures.
- Certifications: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.
- Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice CT scanners
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Dress Code: Charcoal grey uniform
