The CT Technologist canperform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumesresponsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates CTequipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs Intravenouscontrast injections, operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient's room,equipment, supplies, and medications. The CT Technologist is responsible forthe quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values, ARRTStandards of Ethics, and the policies and procedures of the designated area.The CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence missionof Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.EDUCATION / TRAINING /EXPERIENCE:Desired:- Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray- One year experience in CTLICENSES /CERTIFICATIONS:Minimum:- Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by theDepartment of Health Services, State of California (CRT)- Approved CPR certification- ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hireDesired:- Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certification- Current license issued by ARRT- Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State ofCalifornia- Advanced certification in CTSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, crosssectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographicexposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection,radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CTtechnologist. Must be intelligent and self motivated. Excellent communicationand critical thinking skills problem solving techniques are are required.About Chico: Chico is an extremely easy place to live.
