Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring 1 year of large hospital and OR experience.

Details

  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Patient ratio of 1:1
  • No weekend requirement
  • No on-call requirement
  • No floating between units required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Trauma Level I and Level II hospital setting

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required, with large hospital experience preferred
  • OR experience required
  • Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification
  • Valid WA state radiology license or license required if applicable
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
  • Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
  • All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
  • Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
  • RTO must be requested and approved at the time of submission, as post-submission RTO requests may not be granted
  • Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
  • Skills may include abdomen/GI imaging, upper and lower extremity imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, spine and pelvis imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and head imaging
  • Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS equipment
  • Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety practices, and adherence to infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
