Building Maintenance Tech

Our client, a facility management organization dedicated to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments, is seeking a Building Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Tech

Location: Lake Wales, FL

Pay Range: $23

Shift: 7am - 3:45pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs using hand tools.
• Strong organizational skills to keep accurate records and documentation.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Basic knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Prior experience in building maintenance is not required but beneficial.
