Order Picker

Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking an Order Picker to join their team. As an Order Picker, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the DSD Warehouse team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Order Picker

Location: Wooddale, IL

Pay Rate: $17.60

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

• Picking, stacking, labeling, and distributing products within the warehouse
• Transporting materials and items from the picking area to other designated locations
• Sorting and placing materials or items on pallets or bakery dollies according to predetermined sequences
• Loading and unloading bread trays from trucks efficiently and safely
• Following standard operation procedures and meeting productivity goals

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to follow safety, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks
• Comfortable using RF scanning and voice picking equipment, if applicable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
