State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

The Judson Palmer Home specializes in providing compassionate and personalized assisted living services for women in financial need. We are a non-profit organization that has served Hancock County for over 75 years. Our facility houses up to 16 residents at any time, and is dedicated to providing the best care possible.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team for the 7P-7A shift. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
• Accurate and thorough charting.

Requirements

• Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in assisted living or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Excellent time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
