Job Description

We are seeking an Electronic Assembler I to join its manufacturing team in State College, PA. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in electronics manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and precision production work.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of assembly tasks including cable fabrication, hand soldering, bonding processes, component assembly, and limited product testing while following established work instructions and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform hand soldering and cable assembly operations.
  • Work under a microscope to complete precision assembly tasks.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, and assembly procedures.
  • Prepare components, fixtures, and materials for assembly.
  • Perform bonding and attachment processes.
  • Conduct basic product testing and inspections.
  • Complete manufacturing work orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Record labor and production activities within the MRP system.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Less than one year of related manufacturing, assembly, or production experience required.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hand soldering.
  • Experience working under a microscope.
  • Electronics assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with cable fabrication or small-part assembly.
