CIVIL ENGINEER / Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with an E.I.T (preferred) and 2 to 4 years of experience in planning and design.

The primary responsibilities for this position will include providing duties associated with Civil Site plan & subdivision design. Responsible for the development of all phases of infrastructure and land development projects throughout the project life cycle. This includes planning, subdivision, preliminary engineering, final engineering and construction support. Position requires contact with the City, County, & State for submittals and follow up for the civil design.

Duties:

· Research appropriate city, county, and state jurisdiction ordinances for required supporting project documentation.

· Work closely with other Engineers and staff on submittals, review, and design.

· Design Civil plans, using AutoCAD for design.

· Responsible for drafting reports, communicating, and corresponding via email/phone for meetings with appropriate jurisdictions.

· Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

· Engineer In Training (preferred)

· 2-4 years of strong experience in engineering design and plan production

· Proficient in AutoCAD design

· Knowledge of Drainage Analysis Software

· Ability to work independently and as a team.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to interact with clients, regulators and state officials on a daily basis.

· Able to use resources effectively to provide excellent client services.

· Working knowledge of land development, drainage, detention, water quality and wastewater utility design.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro
