Sage Group Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Travel Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER) assignment in Syracuse, NY.

Job Details

• Location: Syracuse, NY
• Assignment: Travel
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Some holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions.
• Record vital signs and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
• Assist with patient flow, room preparation, and other clinical duties.

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN License
• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER) experience (required)
• Emergency Department experience required
• Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous inpatient experience preferred
• EMR experience preferred
