Industrial Maintenance Technician
Easton, PA
Monday to Friday
Days (some on call requirements)
Pay Up to $40 per hour
Summary
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support waste treatment facility equipment. The ideal candidate will service, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment, including boilers, electronics, PLCs, conveyors and overall facility systems to support ongoing site operations. This role requires a strong background in production equipment maintenance in a multi-shift or continuous operating environment, as well as availability for occasional travel to support other facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities for an Industrial Maintenance Techncian
- Perform daily maintenance, hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and emergency repairs on production and facility equipment.
- Coordinate with plant operations and supervisors to schedule necessary downtime for maintenance activities.
- Assemble, align, and install machine upgrades on time and within budget constraints.
- Communicate with the broader service and maintenance team to manage spare parts, travel schedules, and technical support.
- Provide remote assistance to operational plants to resolve equipment issues and resume production quickly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including plant leadership, global operations, and external suppliers.
- Maintain equipment inventory levels across facility locations to ensure sites remain effectively stocked.
Key Requirements for an Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Mechanical Expertise, especially with conveyors: Proven experience with mechanical assemblies and industrial production equipment.
- High Pressure Boilers: Hands-on repair experience using welding techniques.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Ability to identify electrical issues and communicate fault conditions clearly.
- PLC Knowledge: Capability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery with remote/telephone support.
- Core Competencies: Proactive problem solver with strong task management, prioritization, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Adaptability: Flexible approach to evolving operational needs and dynamic work environments.
- Occasional Travel: Willingness and availability to travel nationally to support facility sites as needed.
