Outpatient Therapist – Children & Adolescents

Location: Southampton, PA
Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually
Bonus: Earn an additional $5 for every evidence-based treatment session completed

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, schools, and other providers to coordinate care.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
  • Provide crisis consultation and support to staff and caregivers when needed.
  • Serve as a clinical advocate for clients during meetings, agency contacts, and court proceedings when appropriate.
  • Educate families, caregivers, and school personnel on treatment interventions and behavioral health needs.
  • Obtain authorizations from Managed Care organizations as required.
  • Stay current on evidence-based treatment practices and complete all required trainings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Clinical practicum and internship experience providing direct services to children and adolescents under on-site supervision.
  • Minimum of one year of paid post-master's clinical experience working with children and adolescents (candidates with less experience may be considered with enhanced clinical supervision).
  • Training and proficiency in an Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) such as TF-CBT, PCIT, ESFT, or similar.

Preferred

  • Certification in an approved Evidence-Based Practice.
  • Active Pennsylvania clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist). Licensure is preferred but not required.
