The Food Safety Technician and Quality Assurance role is dedicated to ensuring that food products meet the highest safety and quality standards. This position involves monitoring production processes, inspecting facilities, and implementing safety protocols to comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. The technician works closely with production teams to maintain consistent product quality and safeguard consumer health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of food production areas to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Monitor and document critical control points within the production process
• Perform microbial and chemical testing of food products and ingredients
• Identify and report any deviations from quality standards
• Implement corrective actions to address safety or quality issues
• Assist in the development and updating of food safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for regulatory audits
