Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work, with proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and experience working with low voltage systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction and renovation projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Candidates should possess excellent hand tools and power tools skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in commercial or industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and specifications
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks
• Work on renovation projects, including updating existing electrical systems or installing new wiring in buildings
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to electrical codes and regulations during all phases of work
• Collaborate with construction teams or contractors to ensure timely project completion
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Experience working on renovation projects or remodelling existing electrical systems
• Additional handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills
