Opportunity:

CT/Xray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour overnight shifts: Friday 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, and Sunday 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend overnight shifts required
• Perform both CT and X-Ray procedures
• No on-call required
• No floating between units
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a 2-room radiology department with 48 beds
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• Scrub color: Any color
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Required skills include: 3D rendering (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), abdomen without and/or with contrast, carotid, cervical, chest without and/or with contrast, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, ICU, isolation precautions/PPE, lumbar, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, region of interest measurement, sinuses, soft tissue neck, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, trauma head, vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), and venipuncture
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 59 total staff beds and offers a full range of interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a collaborative, well-resourced environment for healthcare professionals delivering high-quality patient care.
