Job Details:
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Charting system experience required; Epic system used
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• 8 room unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Proficiency in a broad range of CT procedures required, including but not limited to: chest with/without contrast, coronary CTA, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, enterography, head with/without contrast, lumbar, pelvis with/without contrast, thoracic, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Additional skills required include: radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, region of interest measurement (ROI), biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and colorectal studies
• Experience with Level I and Level II Trauma, adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings required
• Michigan license must be in-hand at time of submission (compact license not accepted)
• 2 manager or supervisor references required
• No requested time off during the first week of the contract
