Schedule: On-call coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM). FTE options available with shift makeup policy as needed.
Highlights:
- State-of-the-art department with 4 IR rooms featuring Siemens single-plane and bi-plane C-arms
- Level 1 trauma, stroke, and PE center with high-acuity interventional and neuro-interventional case mix
- Comprehensive procedural exposure including angiograms, embolizations, thrombectomies, stent placements, nephrostomy tubes, IVC filters, and central line insertions
- Dual-tech model with dedicated scrub and circulating roles per room
- Cerner charting system and advanced imaging technology including PACS integration
- First-time travelers accepted with comprehensive orientation support
Requirements:
- Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro-vascular IR procedures
- Demonstrated competency scrubbing cases including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological interventions
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Two supervisor references required
