Travel Pay Rate: $2813 weekly ($35.5/hr w2 + $1393/week Stipend)
Local Pay Rate: $64/Hr on w2
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an Adult Level II Trauma/teaching hospital. The technologist will perform CT imaging across the ED, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including routine, trauma, vascular, cardiac, and special-procedure CT exams. The role requires the ability to float to an offsite outpatient CT location as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans for adult, pediatric, infant, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- Perform head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen/pelvis, vascular, cardiac, and trauma CTs.
- Perform Coronary CTA, vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism/aorta studies, brain perfusion, etc.
- Perform CT-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and myelography.
- Administer and prepare contrast media.
- Start peripheral IVs.
- Perform 3D reconstruction, MPR, ROI measurements, and post-processing.
- Work in ED, ICU, adult acute care, and outpatient settings.
- Maintain radiation safety and appropriate isolation/PPE practices.
- Use Epic/PACS for documentation and image management.
- Float within scope to an offsite outpatient CT location.
- Participate in scheduled on-call coverage.
Requirements:
- 3+ years CT Tech experience
- BLS certification
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification
- Experience with contrast administration and peripheral IV starts
- Ability to perform CT imaging and post-processing
