Position Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform quality CT imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will operate CT equipment, position patients, administer contrast when needed, and deliver accurate diagnostic images in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare, identify, and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment.
- Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
- Follow radiation safety (ALARA) and infection control protocols.
- Verify patient identity and imaging orders before procedures.
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR/PACS system.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist. Charting: EPIC experience required Certifications: ARRT (CT) – Required ARRT (R) – Required BLS (AHA) – Required
