What You Bring:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
• Experience or strong interest in serving students in a self-contained setting
• Background in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Adaptability and teamwork, collaborating with families and staff
• Ability to manage and inspire a diverse group of learners

Snapshot of Your Role:

• Guide and instruct students according to their individual education plans, supporting both academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to foster an inclusive environment
• Develop lesson plans and instructional strategies tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
• Collect data, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with IEP goals
• Attend and participate in team meetings and IEP conferences as needed—administrative hours provided
• Utilize district-supported IEP systems (training available, details provided upon onboarding)
