Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026/2027 academic year. Situated near Prospect Park, PA, this position offers the chance to work closely with students in grades 1-8, collaborating with a passionate educational team to support positive behavioral outcomes and student growth.
As a BCBA, you’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 3:00pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), following the school calendar from September 1st through the end of the school year. The focus will be on delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not mandatory
- Proven track record working with K-8 populations
- Strong skills in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans
- Effective communication and consultation abilities with staff and families
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and proactive behavior supports
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
- Develop and oversee individualized behavioral programs for students in grades 1-8
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to integrate interventions into the educational setting
- Train staff and provide ongoing support for implementing behavioral strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development
