Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to varying caseload needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech, language, and communication therapies to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and participate in the eligibility determination process
• Develop targeted treatment plans and document ongoing student progress
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, special educators, families, and other service providers
• Provide guidance and education to support staff and family members regarding speech and language development
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school policies
