Speech Language Pathologist in Katy, TX

A leading school district needs a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This important, on-site position serves grades 6-8 or 10-12, depending on your preference, providing direct therapy, evaluations, testing, and ARD participation. Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license and Florida licensure required (please include an image of your license when applying)
• Experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school age groups, is preferred
• Capable of managing full-scope SLP responsibilities: therapy, evaluations, ARDs, and testing
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
• Ability to complete all district credentialing, including FBI fingerprinting if not already on file

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned student caseload
• Conduct evaluations and prepare detailed progress reports
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings as a valued interdisciplinary team member
• Coordinate and communicate with educational staff and parents
• Tailor intervention strategies to meet individual needs of diverse learners
