General Maintenance Technician

Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity in Goleta, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

•Must have the ability to obtain a clearance

•At least 6 years of related work experience

•Experience in all of the labor trades such as plumbing, structural, electrical, painting and more

•At least 2 years of experience in HVAC

•Demonstrated Problem and troubleshooting skills

•Light construction

•Metalworking or machining

•Ability to lift 40-50 lbs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic or sheet metal fabrication, or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools.

•May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor.

• May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

•May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary.

•Accredited HSD/GED

•Full-Time

•4/10 work schedule

•1st Shift
