Your expertise will be vital from August 2026 through May 2027, working 37.5 hours per week. The assignment covers the entire school year, allowing you to establish strong relationships and see tangible progress in your caseload.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and comfortable in both onsite and potential hybrid roles
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in group and one-on-one sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
