Medical Assistant / NCT
Pay: $20-27/hour
Location: Lewisville, TX 75057

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Summary:
Our client is a large Orthopedic group based in the DFW area. They are seeking a Medical Assistant who can also serve as an NCT to join their Lewisville practice. This is a busy and fast-paced environment where your time will be split between diagnostic imaging and direct patient care support. 
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well with a wide range of personalities, and takes initiative to find answers rather than waiting to be told. This is a non-floating position based at this single Lewisville location.
Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of NCT (Non -Certified Radiologic Technician) — Current, up-to-date state license
• MA diploma required
• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse personalities across a large provider team
• Team player with a curious, resourceful mindset — comfortable seeking out answers independently

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray/imaging for patients as ordered by providers (~40% of role)
• Room patients, take vitals, and prepare them for provider visits (~60% of role)
• Administer medications and injections per provider orders
• Assist providers with clinical workflow and documentation in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
