Special Education Teacher - Strongsville, OH

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Intervention Specialist licensure preferred
• Previous experience in special education settings is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP creation and implementation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings with families and school staff
• Deliver specially designed instruction (SDI) tailored to each student’s goals
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed, timely progress reporting
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture
• Serve as a liaison between families, support staff, and other educators
