This role is perfect for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) passionate about working directly with kindergarten students, primarily those who are nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. You’ll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills—making a meaningful impact that extends far beyond the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Experience working with young children, particularly those who are autistic and nonverbal
  • Authorization to work in education settings; must provide valid certificates with your resume for consideration
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are not eligible for this position

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Work two full days per week, with your choice of days
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to kindergarten students, focusing on individualized learning plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach
  • Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to shape student support plans
