Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: New Windsor, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Outpatient
Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually, (Depending on years of GI experience and credentials.)
Position Summary
A physician-led, multi-specialty practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its outpatient Gastroenterology team. Work alongside experienced GI physicians in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with flexible scheduling and excellent work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits.
- Coordinate pre- and post-endoscopy care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and educate patients.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active New York NP or PA license.
- DEA certification.
- 2–3 years of Gastroenterology experience.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, or GI motility disorders
- Hospital privileges or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish a plus)
