Job Title- Manager, Sourcing Portfolio
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, category strategies, supplier performance, and contract negotiations for a large-scale power generation organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management across multiple spend categories.
- Develop sourcing strategies focused on cost savings, TCO, supplier optimization, and operational reliability.
- Lead complex RFPs, negotiations, spend analysis, benchmarking, and contract execution.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, SLAs, and supply chain risk.
- Partner with business leaders and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
- Oversee contract governance and approve $500K–$10M contracts/POs.
- Lead and develop a team of Category Leaders.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of sourcing, procurement, or related experience.
- Strong strategic sourcing, category management, negotiation, and spend management experience.
- Proven people leadership and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong supplier relationship and contract management experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
- Utility/Energy industry experience
- SAP/SRM
- CPSM, Six Sigma, or similar certification
- MBA or advanced degree
- Project management experience
