PDS Tech Commercial is seeking dependable, hardworking MIG Production Welders to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your work directly contributes to building high-quality metal equipment and structures.

Location: Forest Park, GA | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm | Pay: $18/hr

About the Role

As a MIG Production Welder, you'll play a critical role in supporting production operations by fabricating and welding metal structures in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help ensure products meet exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do

As a valued member of the production team, you will:

  • Perform MIG welding on metal equipment and structural components in a production setting.

  • Operate welding machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding specifications, routers, and work instructions.

  • Measure and inspect workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Operate additional production equipment as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience welding thin-gauge metal while maintaining high-quality weld standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, welding specifications, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized welding trade school or vocational welding program.

  • Additional fabrication or manufacturing experience.

  • Experience working in high-volume production environments.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds and occasional lifting of more than 75 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motions.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with loud noise levels, moving mechanical equipment, and varying conditions.

Welding Assessment

To ensure success in the role, all candidates will complete a hands-on weld test during the interview process. This assessment will demonstrate welding proficiency and the ability to work effectively with thin-gauge materials.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
