Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ speech and language development as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist on a school campus near Smyrna, DE. This rewarding contract opportunity spans the full academic year, giving you the chance to build lasting relationships with students, collaborate closely with educators, and help shape the communication skills of diverse learners.

To prepare and finalize assignment details, you’ll participate in a morning meeting with district representatives on August 7th. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with district leaders, gain valuable insights into program expectations, and ensure a smooth start to the year ahead.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in K–12 school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct and consultative services in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school events throughout the academic year
