Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Office Manager to provide operational support and continuity for a well-established nonprofit organization during a period of leadership transition. This hybrid, part-time contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and keeping day-to-day business operations running smoothly.
Office Manager (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Schedule: 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, flexible hours during normal business operations (9-5)
Duration: Up to 1 year
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour
Parking: Dedicated spot
Attire: Business casual
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office and business operations
- Run QuickBooks reports and assist with financial administration
- Submit invoices for approval and payment processing
- Support payroll administration and related records
- Learn and maintain the organization's donor database/CRM
- Provide administrative support to board members and committees
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Assist tenants within the organization's building and serve as a point of contact for facility-related needs
- Coordinate maintenance requests and building upkeep
- Maintain organizational records, files, and information systems
- Support process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in office management, business administration, operations, or a related field
- Strong QuickBooks proficiency
- Experience with CRM or database management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Google Workspace experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience supporting executive leadership, boards, or volunteer-led organizations is a plus
- Prior nonprofit experience preferred but not required
