Express Employment is looking for a Welder for a long term.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7A.M. - 3:30 P.M. (Hours may varies on weather or workload)

Pay: $19.50 - $25/hour DOE

Location: Chico, CA

Job Description:

• Build and complete projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including:
• Band saws
• Grinders
• Welding machines
• Drill presses
• Other tools commonly used in a full-service fabrication shop
• Follow industry-standard safety procedures and consistently wear the required PPE.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of welding and metal fabrication best practices.
• Be comfortable working on a wide variety of custom fabrication projects rather than repetitive work.
• Fabricate items such as gates, fences, handrails, and other custom metalwork.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude when interacting with customers.
• Demonstrate reliability, good character, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

• 1 - 5 years of current experience
• Must have clean background check
• Read, understand, and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
