Special Education Teacher - Plymouth, Massachusetts

What You Bring:

• DESE Special Education Teaching Certification for grades 5–12 (required)
• Previous experience or strong interest in working within high school settings
• Familiarity with inclusion classrooms and adapting curriculum for varying learning needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students with diverse abilities

Your Role Will Include:

• Creating and implementing lesson plans tailored to students’ IEP goals within an inclusion classroom
• Collaborating closely with general education staff, support professionals, and families to ensure student success
• Monitoring academic and behavioral progress and maintaining accurate records
• Providing modifications and accommodations to support high school students’ educational development
• Actively participating in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
• Working with a caseload size to be determined

This position provides a steady schedule at 35 hours per week with competitive compensation at $45 per hour, along with weekly pay.
