Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience with school-based psychological assessments and IEP processes

  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
  • Comfort adapting communication and strategies for individualized student needs
  • Commitment to upholding best practices and current state/federal special education guidelines

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a select number of assessments and contribute professional insights during IEP team meetings
  • Develop intervention recommendations to address unique student challenges
  • Support high-needs, non-verbal students through innovative, evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive support plans
  • Provide consultative resources to staff and parents, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere
