Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Intervention Specialist preferred
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
• Committed to providing specially designed instruction (SDI) and progress monitoring

Core Responsibilities:

• Write comprehensive and individualized IEPs tailored to student needs
• Facilitate IEP meetings and actively participate in team collaboration
• Provide direct instruction and support aligned with each student’s learning plan
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and create detailed progress reports
• Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to promote student growth
• Engage in ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary staff

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
• Serve a K-8 caseload of 16 students at one convenient site
• Start as soon as possible, continuing through May 28, 2027
