\nLead Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
\nHoward County General Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist to support the Respiratory Therapy department through clinical leadership, staff coordination, and high-quality patient care. In this role, you will help coordinate daily staffing coverage, provide direct respiratory care across the hospital, mentor team members, and support equipment and supply management. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective respiratory services.

\nResponsibilities
\nCoordinate respiratory therapy staffing and patient care coverage.
\nProvide direct respiratory care across hospital units.
\nAssist staff with assessments, procedures, and documentation.
\nMentor and support respiratory therapy team members.
\nCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
\nMonitor supply and equipment needs.
\nOversee cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
Qualifications
\nGraduate of an approved Respiratory Care Practitioner program.
\nAssociate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
\n5 years of respiratory therapy experience.
\nCurrent Maryland Respiratory Care license.
\nCurrent NBRC RRT credential.
\nBLS certification required.
\nACLS required within 6 months of hire.
Salary Range: Minimum 39.56/hour - Maximum 65.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
