Shift: Nights – 3×12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Summary

\n

Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a Critical Access Hospital. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical-surgical patients while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

    \n
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients.
  • \n
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • \n
  • Administer medications and treatments safely.
  • \n
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes.
  • \n
  • Accurately document care in Cerner EMR.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff.
  • \n
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning.
  • \n
  • Follow hospital policies and evidence-based nursing practices. 
  • \n

Minimum Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Active Montana RN License (or compact license if accepted by the facility).
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience.
  • \n
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  • \n
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working night shifts (3×12s).
  • \n
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
