Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and Michigan RN licensure.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (11 East) of a hospital setting
\n
• Oncology patient population with chemotherapy administration
\n
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n
• 13-week contract assignment
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Michigan RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for all direct patient care personnel
\n
• ACLS certification required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, and SICU
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
\n
• Oncology experience preferred
\n
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing unit-based oncology course and unit orientation
\n
• Complete ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy
\n
• Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions will only be assigned to staff who have completed the ONS course or hold OCN certification
\n
