**Exciting Opportunity: Full Time Staff RN - PACU - Days!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** 8:30 AM - 6 PM, 4 x 9's - **Weekend Call:** One day per Saturday or Sunday every 6 weeks - **Night Call:** 4-5 times per 6-week schedule **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process. - Direct and delegate tasks to co-workers in a collaborative care environment. - Provide education and support for patients and their families from admission through discharge. - Maintain thorough, accurate, and concise documentation throughout the patient care process. - Communicate pertinent observations and changes in patient status to the physician. - Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely. - Ensure medical equipment and supplies are available for patient care and report any malfunctions promptly. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN). - **Licensure/Certification:** Valid RN license in Ohio; CPR certification is required. - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience preferred. - **Skills:** - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and make independent decisions **Organizational Values:** - **Empathy:** Understand and care for patients and their families. - **Integrity:** Uphold ethical and honest practices in all situations. - **Stewardship:** Utilize resources wisely and give back to the community. - **Agility:** Embrace change and seek innovative solutions. - **Teamwork:** Collaborate effectively and respect diverse perspectives. **Work Environment:** - **Physical Demand:** Heavy work requiring the ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds occasionally. - **Psychological/Mental:** High stress management required in urgent situations; ability to communicate empathetically is essential. - **Cognitive:** Must possess strong attention, memory, and organizational skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
