As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. \n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. \n
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. \n
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. \n
- Operate and monitor medical equipment. \n
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. \n
- PA license or compact license required (must be in hand). \n
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required. \n
- Previous charge experience preferred. \n
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. \n
- Strong skills in management of dysrhythmias, central line care, and IV vasopressors. \n
- Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients. \n
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment. \n
