\nTerms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

One (1) year of applicable experience

Relocation Eligibility:

Must live 50 miles outside of campus address

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours
\n \nShift: 3/12 or 4/10 plus call needs
\n \nPrimary Job Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- \n
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure.
\n - \n
Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment.
\n - \n
Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
\n - \n
Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff; and responds to complaints in a timely manner.
\n - \n
Monitors aseptic technique of the entire surgical team and takes immediate corrective action for any breaks in technique.
\n - \n
Identifies and reports environmental concerns to management and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and policies.

Work Experience:

1+ cardiovascular operating room experience [Required]
\n
Licenses and Certifications:
- \n
- \n
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
\n - \n
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) OR Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) [Required]
